Grand Bassa County to get a Modern Bridge

It was a color scene today at the bridge that links Buchanan City by way of the Four Houses Community to the Paynesberry Community and the Grand Bassa University. Scores of government officials including Acting Public Works Minister, Deputy Information Ministers, entourage of the Ministry of Public Works, the Local County Authority, the Grand Bassa Legislative Caucus, the Grand Bassa University Faculty Senate, the students leadership and populace, community dwellers of the Four Houses and Paynesberry Communities, the citizenry of Grand Bassa County gathered at the bridge on today, April 27, 2022 to grace the occasion marking the Ground Breaking Ceremony for a new and modern bridge that will last for over 80 years. During the ceremony, the President of the Republic of Liberia, through the Acting Public Works Minister assured the people of Grand Bassa County that within the next 4 to 6 months, the bridge will be installed.
